SMART VU PROJECT

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The SmartVu application is a Vendor Management and Supplier Logistics portal for the purpose of providing complete visibility to the supply chain life-cycle for existing clients. Shippers and consignees should be able to manage their supply chain partners and share necessary information across all parties.

The scope of this project was never fully agreed upon, which limited UX/UI involvement. The initial expectation was to deliver a complete re-design along with the addition of new features throughout the application. UX was able to deliver a new dashboard, a robust search function, and a redesign of the document management page. UI updated the overall look and feel to match the branding of the other digital products within the BDP Smart Suite.

UX MOCKUPS

Low fidelity mockups due to the fast turnaround by the business sponsors

REVIEW

The mockup reviews were inconsistent due to reoccurring schedule changes
On more than one occasion, mockups which were previously agreed upon were later rejected after the development team completed the build

UI DELIVERABLES

Assisted with icon and button creation
Worked with the UI lead to ensure new branding standards were applied
